Not sure who needs to hear this but... our bodies don’t care about algorithms and calculations. They lose weight when they are good and ready.
Do you need to be consistent? Obviously.
Will you have amazing weeks of progress? For sure!
Will there@be weeks where you’re asking “what the f*** is going on? Without a doubt.
loss is a roller coaster, that’s part of what makes it so satisfying to arrive at your goal.
Allowing the ups and downs happen without being an emotional rollercoaster will tap into new levels of resilience.
It’s all coming together for you.

Our 90 day challenge has brought amazing momentum and a lot of special positive moments for our challengers.
But, as always, the closer we get to a goal the tougher it becomes to see more progress.
Personal challenges become the name of the game when we are doing the basics and keeping consistent.
For me, weekends have come with a 5-8 pound swing and while I know it’s just “water” it makes me feel sad to not be on track again until Wednesday.
So...here we are:)
I’ll post my weight again on Monday to complete this personal challenge.

For me, workouts serve as emergency relief for “hamster wheel” thoughts, worry, or anxiety.
Get off the hamster wheel by focusing 100% on anything.
You already know what I’m going to suggest... move the body:)
Two studies offer examples of how exercise affects mental health.
Duke university found that after one year, those with major depressive disorder who did regular exercise received as much benefit as they would have gained from medications. In addition, regular exercises were less likely to relapse and return into depression.
Another study found that women with generalized anxiety disorder who did two weeks of resistance training or aerobic exercise decreased their worry symptoms by 60% (Herring, Jacob, Suveg, Dishman, & O’Connor, 2012).
