Here is 1 tiny tip that can help you sign your ideal clients 👇
Engagement.
When you’re using a content marketing strategy, you’re sharing content within your own bubble.
To reach people outside of that bubble, and to help your ideal clients find you, you need an engagement strategy.
Things started to change for me when I started engaging:
🔸 I grew my network
🔸 I made more personal connections with potential clients
🔸 I grew the engagement on my own page
🔸 I booked more calls with my ideal clients
🔸 I started signing clients
An online strategy is more than just posting content, it’s about being social.
If you want to learn how to achieve these things as well, book a free marketing strategy call and I’ll help you work out your next steps. 🤳

Struggling with your marketing because it’s outside of your comfort zone?
Here’s a story for you.
A few months ago I moved from a big city to a small town.
It was well outside of my comfort zone.
The last 13 years I have lived in big cities, and for the longest time I dreaded this move.
I believed I would miss out, thinking that ‘small towns don’t have everything I need'.
But over the past few months, things have fallen into place like a puzzle in a way they never did in the city.
All the things I find important in building a happy and healthy life, I have found right around my corner, like:
🥕 An affordable, organic supermarket
🏋️♀️ An awesome gym
🏖️ A beach 5 mins away
⛷️ A local ski-hill that doesn’t get busy
🫶 A loving community
What made me doubt this move for so long wasn’t actually that it wouldn’t be good for me, it was fear of the unknown.
Doing new things is scary.
What is one thing you’ll do this week that scares you?

A few things my algorithm told me this month 👇
🔵 My scheduled content does better than the content I post right away
🔵 My content gets more impressions and engagement when it’s posted in the morning
🔵 My videos and carousels have been performing better than my picture content
🔵 My impressions and engagement are higher when I spend 20 minutes being social around the time I post my content
🔵 30% of the accounts I'm reaching are not my followers, so if I want to grow my account I need to raise that number
🔵 My network’s favorite type of content has been me sharing personal stories about myself.
My main takeaways are
➡️ Instagram wants me to be more social (to increase my community and the impact of my content)
➡️ The algorithm wants me to think & plan ahead
➡️ My community enjoys videos and carousels most
I’m not sure yet if my scheduled content does better because I’ve been scheduling it for the mornings recently, or if it does better because it’s scheduled.
I’ll keep experimenting and report back when I know more.
Are you keeping an eye on how your content is doing? What have you been noticing?

Instead of wondering if you’re doing your marketing right, just do it.
The only way you’ll find out what strategy is right for you is by experimenting.
Here’s how you can do that 👇:
〽️ Check your mindset.
Have you dialed it to experiment mode, where you’re only acting as an observer without getting weighed down by the results?
〽️ Try something different every day!
That’s right. Write about helpful tips one day, and a personal story about your dog the next. See what resonates more with your audience.
〽️ Play with all forms of media.
Photo, video, audio. It’s going to jank you right out of your comfort zone, and that’s exactly where you need to be to experiment.
〽️ Try out all the platforms and post the same (though adjusted to the platform) content on each of them. See where your people gather most.
〽️ Always remember that the end goal is to connect with like-minded people that need your services and your unique energy. So strike up conversations with them, and learn more about what their situation is.
〽️ Whether people want to buy from you or not, be helpful. The good energy you put out there comes back tenfold.
Happy Friday ☀️

You've been doing your own marketing and something's not working. You’re stuck with a strategy that’s not working for you, or you’re not sure how to get started on your marketing strategy.
Have you ever thought that the strategy you're using might just not be right for you? Maybe you're following someone else's recipe for success, but it's just not working for you.
Remember that entrepreneurship is all about experimenting and tweaking until you've found your success formula. So, time to go back to the drawing board and reassess.

I changed my page name, and here’s why.
When I first started I called it The Hiking Coach, because I am a coach that happens to like hiking. ⛰️
But it was confusing.
Sometimes people thought I would teach them how to hike 😜 Which fair enough, the name kind of insinuated.
What I actually do is help women become their own boss, so they can have a life with more:
✅ freedom
✅ flexibility
✅ balance
So from now on you can find me under Become Your Own Boss, because let’s be honest, it’s a lot more clear on what I actually offer. 🫶

When I started my business I was really worried that it wouldn't work out. 😥
It was the first time I did anything entrepreneurial.
I didn’t come from a family of entrepreneurs.
And frankly I had no idea what I was doing.
I started working on what I did know from my years in marketing.
So I built a website, started an Instagram and made reels.
Nothing happened.
No clients for months.
I panicked, and continued to panic for a while longer.
I felt completely paralyzed in not knowing what to do.
One day I shot into action because I couldn’t tread water any longer.
I realized there was a lot I needed to learn, and I wanted to learn it from someone with experience. Someone that had already traveled the journey I was still on.
I did research and found a business program that felt right to me.
I joined and learned how to build a solid foundation for my business
I continued to try new things, and fail, and try new things, and fail,... But NEVER gave up!
Now I know what I’m doing. But most importantly to me, I know when it’s actually time to worry rather than constantly worrying.
Anything is possible, as long as you know your strengths and weaknesses, take ACTION and keep tweaking!
I would love to hear if you ever struggled with worry and how you dealt with it?
