✨ Celebrating World Behaviour Analysis Day ✨

We see the power of small moments— a first word, a shared smile, a new skill, a growing connection.

We work to understand each child’s unique needs and support them in ways that are meaningful, respectful, and empowering 💛

Early intervention isn’t just about teaching skills—
it’s about building confidence, independence, and joy in everyday life.
Today, we celebrate the children, families, and clinicians who make this work so impactful 🌱

Connection lays the foundation for growth.
When children feel understood and supported, learning follows naturally.
It’s not about perfection—it’s about being there, again and again. 💛

We know how much families of autistic learners juggle every day — appointments, therapies, school, and the countless small challenges that aren’t always visible to others. Staying on top of funding changes isn’t easy when day-to-day life is already full.

After speaking with many of the families we work with in the past month, we’ve realized that many families are still unaware that BC’s current autism funding program will end in 2027, and we don’t want anyone to be caught off guard.

We want you to know: we see the hard work you do, we understand the struggles, and we are here to support and advocate with you. The relationships we’ve built with your family are meaningful, and we want to ensure the supports you rely on continue.

Swipe through to see the key changes coming and what you can do to stay informed and advocate for your child.

🌷 Spring Break Tips for Families 🌷
Spring break is a great time to relax and enjoy extra family time. Changes in routine can sometimes be challenging for children, so here are a few simple tips to help the week go smoothly:

• Keep a loose routine – Try to maintain similar wake-up, meal, and bedtime schedules.

• Plan simple activities – Crafts, puzzles, outdoor play, or games can help keep children engaged.

•Practice patience and flexibility - This will make transition back to school a little easier

• Include outdoor time – Fresh air and movement can help children regulate their energy.

Enjoy the break and make the most of the extra time together! 🌸

✨ Let’s check out this month’s Ask a BI! ✨

💬 What do you love most about being a BI?

“I love the variety that comes with being a BI—every child has different needs and strengths, and it’s so fun to build an environment that meets their individual goals and is relevant to their interests. It’s also incredibly fulfilling to know that you are a part of a child’s journey to their fullest potential, whether it be in a big or small way.”

Thank you to our BI for sharing this beautiful reflection.
