So Iโ€™ve decided to commit myself to a 10-week โ€œMini-Cutโ€. Heavily inspired by my fellow coaches , who a majority of are now prepping for shows over the coming months.

I have never fully documented any type of dieting phase on social media but I thought why the hell not!?

Come Monday, I will be 2 weeks into my deficit, and still noticing significant strength gains, minimal energy losses and not even remotely hungryโ€ฆ yet ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

Vacations are ๐—ก๐—˜๐—–๐—˜๐—ฆ๐—ฆ๐—”๐—ฅ๐—ฌ to progress!

Yes, I said it.

In order to continually make progress, whether it be in fitness or any venture, you need to take a ride in the slow lane every once and a while, and recharge.

Our bodies are not designed to go 100% all out, all day every day. The mantra of โ€œGo big, or Go Homeโ€ is gone.

That DOES NOT mean the wheels need to come off completely. If youโ€™re working towards something and have a end goal in mind, stay focused and keep the bigger picture in mind.

Just make sure you enjoy yourself while doing it ๐Ÿ˜œ

The O T H E R S I D E

Not normally a side I share all too often, but this is what I look like outside of gym clothes and in what I call โ€œStudent Modeโ€

Being in RMT school has forced me to become comfortable stepping outside my comfort zone. Not just with the way I dress, but also with how I interact with people, how I go about my day to day life.

I HATED the change.

What Iโ€™ve learned from this (the hard way), is that you have to be honest about what it is YOU want, rather then lie to yourself and make excuses to stay in your comfort zone.

Change is uncomfortable.

But itโ€™s in that discomfort, where growth happens.

E M B R A C E change.
