District 21 encompasses all Toastmasters clubs in British Columbia & Yukon, Canada šŸ‡ØšŸ‡¦ At the time District 21 was five Toastmasters clubs in British Columbia.

OUR DISTRICT

District 21 was born in August 1946 at the Toastmasters International Convention in Seattle, Washington. In the years since District 21 has built new clubs, more communicators and powerful leaders who have served at all levels of the organization and beyond. District 21 grew to more than 300 clubs in all of British Columbia before officially splitting into two districts on July 1, 20

REMINDER: June 15, 2026 is the deadline to claim your club’s hard earned District Bucks for 2025-2026! We are hosting an online training session today on how to submit your District Bucks expenses through Concur, Sunday, June 7th from 3-5pm PST via Zoom.

Do you have experience in accounting? Do you have experience preparing audits, budget preparation or council treasury? Looking to take on a prestigious leadership role for District 21 next year? If so, you could be a fit for our next District Finance Manager for 2026-2027!

This is considered a Core Team District Leadership role reporting directly to the incoming District Director ELECT for 2026-2027.

Activities of the District Finance Manager Role over the next year include the below:

- Complete Finance Manager Training
- Assist in completing the District Success Plan
- Complete District Budget
- Submit Accrual Template at year end
- Submit Quarterly Narratives and Certification
- Submit Monthly P&L Reports
- Regularly approve District level expenses
- Attend District Executive Committee meetings
- Attend District Council meetings
