As our Artist in Residence, you will:
• Mentor students in the ALC program
• Have access to a creative space at the Morrin Centre
• Enjoy time and space to create, research, and find inspiration
• Lead creativity workshops for students
• Support and inspire the next generation of artists

Last month, students in the British Arts and Literature: There and Back Again course completed a 10-day immersive educational trip to England.

Throughout the course, they explored how literature, art, history, and culture intersect, examining how real-world landscapes, cities, and landmarks have shaped the works of some of Britain’s most influential writers, from Shakespeare to J.K. Rowling.

During their visit, students got the opportunity to see iconic sites like Shakespeare’s Globe, Stratford-upon-Avon, Oxford, the Tower of London, the Warner Bros. Studio Tour London, and the Tate museums.

Le mois dernier, les étudiants du cours British Arts and Literature: There and Back Again ont terminé leur cours avec un voyage éducatif immersif de 10 jours en Angleterre.

Congratulations to Yanni Boudi, Marie Ciocoiu, Hajar Hadraoui, and Maïssa N’Diaye, who have completed their year-long research internship through the InitiaSciences program under the mentorship of Sann Delaive, a PhD student in biology at l'Université Laval.

During the InitiaSciences Symposium, they were awarded the Scientific Communication Award, recognizing their outstanding presentation for its clarity, accessibility, and effectiveness in communicating scientific ideas.

Congratulations to all four students on this well-deserved recognition!

𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝐋𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧 𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭

We are pleased to announce that Raphaël Payant has received a 2026 Finalist Certificate from the Foundation, one of Canada’s most prestigious organizations dedicated to recognizing and supporting the next generation of leaders.

Out of more than 5 000 applicants, Raphaël was selected as a Loran finalist in recognition of his determination, community involvement, and leadership potential. He is graduating St. Lawrence with a DEC in Social Science (World profile) and will be beginning his studies at l'Université Laval this fall.

Congratulations Raphaël on this remarkable achievement! We look forward to seeing what you accomplish in the years ahead.
