Senior Coordinator Dentistry for a Day DDS: Anjali
“Hi! My name is Anjali, and I am a 3rd year DDS student at the University of Alberta. This is my third year with Pathways and this year, I am the Senior Coordinator for Dentistry for a Day where I organize an event for high school and undergraduate students interested in dentistry to spend a day with us in the sim lab doing various fun hands-on activities. One fun fact about me is that outside of dental school, I am a professional dancer, and I run my very own dance studio! So you’ll always see me running around :)”

Senior Coordinator Dentistry for a Day DH: Nadine
“I’m Nadine, and I’m in my fourth year of dental hygiene! I am this year's senior dentistry for a day coordinator, and it is my second year with pathways. When I’m not studying, I’m lifting heavy weights to make sure I can bring in all the groceries in one trip :)”

Junior Coordinator Dentistry for Day DDS: Rachel
“My name is Rachel, and I'm currently in DDS2028. I'm the DDS Junior VP for Dentistry for a Day! I've been with Pathways for 2 years now and am so excited for this year's Dentistry for a Day event. I love working with my hands to create things, and some of my hobbies include hand embroidery, making beaded jewellery, and crocheting clothes. Currently, I'm making a purse that I'm bead embroidering by hand and sewing together out of thrifted fabric!”

“My name is Gloria, and I am currently a third year dental hygiene student! This is my first year with Pathways, and I am the junior coordinator for dentistry for a day! Fun fact about me: I collect house plants!”

Vice President External DDS: Shruti
“Hi! My name is Shruti and I’m in DDS 3! I’ve been working with pathways since last year, and love how many students we’ve been able to help! I’m the current VP External, so I’m excited to answer any questions we receive. A fun fact about me is I love reading thrillers! (Currently trying to get through James Patterson’s repertoire!)”

Vice President External DH: Arone
“I’m Arone and I am a DH3! This is my 1st year with pathways and I’m excited to be VP external for DH! Outside of school, I enjoy staying active with hiking, tennis, and pilates. A fun fact about me is that I love cheese ice cream!”

Junior Vice President External: Hazra
“Hi everyone! My name is Hazra and I am in my second year of DDS. I am super excited to be the new Jr external for Pathways. Fun fact, I make really good matcha :)”

“I’m Robyn, and I’m in my third year of the DDS program! This is also my second year with the Pathways team. In my spare time, I love to read and spend time with my dog! :)”

Vice President Outreach DH: Elias
“I’m Elias, and I’m in my fourth year of dental hygiene. This is my second year as the Vice President of Outreach! I enjoy supporting students on their journey into the dental field. In my free time, I love being outdoors, hiking, and gardening!”

Junior Vice President Outreach DDS: Amber
“Hi, I’m Amber! I’m in my second year of the DDS program, and I currently serve as the Junior VP Outreach for Pathways. My role is to organize presentations in the community for students who are exploring a career in dentistry! A fun fact about me is that I took Italian in undergrad and I speak 3 other languages besides English!

Junior Vice President Outreach DH:
“Hi, I’m Reanna! I’m a third-year Dental Hygiene student and the Junior VP Outreach Representative for Pathways to Dentistry. It’s my first year on the team, and I’m really excited to be part of it. Outside of school, I love staying active. You’ll usually find me at spin, pilates, or rock climbing. I also like to unwind by playing guitar in my free time.”

“Hi! I’m Jesse, and I’m in my fourth and final year of the DDS program! I have been a part of Pathways to Dentistry for the past three years, and I’m so excited to be the president this year! In my free time, I read as much as I can and also love to cook!”

"Hello! I’m Mustafa, and I'm in my fourth and final year of the DDS program! I've had the pleasure of volunteering with Pathways for the past three years, and I'm excited to take on the vice presidency role this year! When I'm not busy with school, I love to run in the river valley and garden!"

Are you a high school or university student interested in becoming a dentist, dental hygienist, or dental assistant? 🦷 Look no further! Pathways to Dentistry is hosting our annual Dentistry For A Day event on October 25th, 2025.

This is your chance to see the University of Alberta Simulation Lab (where all of our new students practice their skills) up close! 🔎 You’ll have a chance to ask questions to current students, learn about different procedures, and even do a filling yourself!
