Today our school is observing Remembrance Day and showing our respect to those who have given us the freedoms that we have. Today we will show our respect and having moments of silence to the amazing people who have made this country the Canada we all know and love.

The perfect fundraiser for the early Christmas shoppers and the help needed for those procrastinating shoppers (we're looking at you Christmas Eve shoppers) For the first time, we are working with to help us reach the fundraising goals so we can break ground on a new play structure.

3.Submit your order online and then submit payment to the school by Thursday, November 14
at 3:30 pm
4.Send payment to the school by:
a.Cash
b.Cheque (made payable to “Gillis School PAC”)
c. E-transfer to [email protected] (security answer: gillis)
5.Pick up your orders on December 4 & 5 during Parent-Teacher Conferences

This is a great fundraiser and we are so excited to bring this new one to Gillis families!

Our AGM is tomorrow, Thursday October 16! We are in need of more members to join our school's PAC. We want to continue to do all we have been doing and keep working towards the big goal of building a new play structure.

With busy after school commitments it can feel overwhelming to think about taking on another thing, we get that! The more help we can get the less time one person has to put in to make all the things we do happen. We have positions that need to be filled for anyone with a bit more time they can spare but we also are always in search of volunteers. Any and all help is welcome and appreciated! If you can spare a couple hours throughout the year it would be a huge help!

We invite all of our community to bring your voices and let them be heard at our AGM tomorrow. We will be holding the meeting at 6pm in the Gillis staff room. We hope to see new faces tomorrow!

Ordering for hot lunches have opened. The first two lunches are up and ready to order! First lunch is set for October 22 and the second is on November 13.

Come join us tonight at Gillis school for our first PAC meeting of the year! We are looking for new members and hope to bring some fresh faces and ideas to the table. The meeting starts at 6pm!!
