One of the greatest gifts Human Design gave me was understanding my Will Center.
The Will Center is connected to willpower, value and self-worth.
With an undefined Will, there can be enormous pressure to prove ourselves.
To work harder.
Achieve more.
Say yes when we really want to say no.
All in an attempt to prove that we’re worthy.
I can trace that pattern in myself all the way back to being twelve years old and walking through the doors of a new school feeling like I had something to prove.
Rewiring the subconscious beliefs underneath all that proving has been, and continues to be, the journey of my life.
Human Design helped me understand why trying to continuously prove myself never worked.
But one of the greatest gifts of having an undefined Will has come from the wisdom I’ve gained through that struggle.
I recognize it in other people.
I recognize the striving, the overachieving, the people pleasing, the need to prove.
And beneath all of it, I can see their worth so clearly.
I get to hold that knowing until they’re ready to see it for themselves.
✨ I’m curious…
Do you know whether your Will Center is defined or undefined?
If yours is undefined, where might the need to prove yourself still be showing up in your life?
