Happy Canada Day! 🍁
Do you know the story behind July 1st?
On July 1, 1867, Canada was born through the British North America Act, uniting provinces into one nation — a land of diversity, opportunity, and pride.
Since then, Canada Day has evolved from a simple proclamation in 1868 to a nationwide celebration of our people, values, and future.
From fireworks in 15 cities (1981) to the royal visits and the launch of a new logo in 2024, it reflects Canada’s journey — and the dreams of everyone who calls this country home.
Today, we celebrate not just a country, but a shared future full of hope, unity, and possibility.
✨ Whether you're a newcomer or born here, you’re part of Canada’s story.
🎆 Happy 157th Birthday, Canada!

🧊 DID YOU KNOW?
🇨🇦 Canada holds nearly 20% of the world's freshwater!
With over 2 million lakes and endless rivers, Canada is one of the most water-rich countries on Earth.
💧 That means clean water, breathtaking nature, and a healthier environment for students and families who choose to settle here.
📌 It’s just one reason why Canada is one of the best places to study, live, and build your future.
Canada has 20 percent of the planet’s freshwater. But some worry there’s not enough to go around.

📌 Important Update for International Students in Canada
🎓 Your field of study now directly affects your eligibility for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP).
To qualify, your program must match one of the eligible CIP (Classification of Instructional Programs) codes linked to jobs in demand in Canada.
🔍 If your program is not on the current eligible list at the time of your study permit or PGWP application, you may not be eligible for a work permit after graduation.
This change highlights the importance of choosing the right study program from the beginning. Fields like STEM, healthcare, trades, education, and transport are currently prioritized.
📖 Always check the latest eligible CIP codes before applying.
