In 2023, more than 3,300 child passengers were killed in motor vehicle crashes in the U.S. Over 40% were not buckled up! Yet, many parents and caregivers are surprised to learn that preventable injuries are the leading cause of death for children in the United States. When a threat isn’t widely understood, it isn’t prioritized and families pay the price. Let’s work together to make safety information accessible to all families.
