Vipin Kataria is an IEEE Senior Member and Distinguished Fellow with 21+ years of experience in enterprise cloud platforms, machine learning, and AI systems. As Senior Lead Architect, Data/ML at Picarro, he designs cloud data architectures and ML-driven analytics for real-time IoT environmental monitoring used by Fortune 500 companies.

Previously at Intel Corporation, Amazon, Aricent, and TCS, Vipin has built scalable solutions across hardware, cloud, and enterprise domains. A frequent speaker at IEEE events, DSS Miami, and the Applied AI Summit, he also serves as Chapter Lead for AI Collective’s South Bay Chapter, supporting a global community of 100,000+ AI practitioners. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, he remains active as a researcher, reviewer, and judge for international AI awards and hackathons.

Sense. Understand. Decide. Act. Verify. Learn.

If any step is missing, you do not have an agent. You have automation theater.

What actually makes agents work in the real world:
• Clear mission and guardrails, not vibes
• Context before action, not instant replies
• Reasoning over signals, not blind ex*****on
• Logged, reversible actions
