One of the biggest misconceptions in physiotherapy is that pelvic health exists separately from the rest of the body.

It doesn’t.

The pelvic floor influences:
• Breathing
• Core control
• Hip function
• Low back pain
• Pressure management
• Sexual function
• Continence and so much more.

Yet many clinicians never feel adequately trained to assess it confidently.

That’s where this course comes in.

Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy: The Practice-Ready Intensive was designed to make pelvic health feel less overwhelming and more clinically applicable from day 1️⃣.

A practical, hands-on intensive for clinicians ready to expand the way they assess, reason, and treat.

🗣️ You’ve heard from the clinicians, now hear from the patients.

FIMS isn’t just changing how physios treat, it’s changing how patients feel about their recovery.

Many patients report noticeable improvement after just one session. And that shift?
It builds trust. It builds momentum.

No more:
“I’ll call to book.”
“I’ll wait and see how it feels.”

Instead, they’re all in- committed, motivated, and ready to do the work.

That’s the difference when you treat the root cause, not just the symptoms.

If you thought you only needle where it hurts - you are missing the point. (Pun intended 😉)

FIMS isn’t about points. It’s about pattern recognition and clinical reasoning.

That’s the difference between temporary relief and lasting outcomes.

Want to actually understand what to do with needles? This course is for you.

June 13, 14 and Sep 12, 13, in Mississauga. Sign up link in bio.

“FIMS isn’t a ‘technique’ or a niche modality, it’s a system of understanding pain. When clinicians learn how to assess the nervous system and treat dysfunction at its root, they stop chasing symptoms and start creating real, lasting change.

We’re not just releasing tight muscles, we’re helping people get back to living without constant pain, returning to the activities they love, and regaining control over their bodies. We are looking at the body as a whole, not just at the site of the symptoms.

I am teaching the FIMS course because I want to bridge the gap between knowing how to needle and truly understanding when, where, and why to needle. My goal is to simplify the complexity of chronic pain and give clinicians the confidence to treat even their most challenging cases. The best part of FIMS - you use it to enhance your practice - not replace it.

If you’ve ever felt stuck or unsure treating persistent pain, this course will change the way you practice. Clinicians have described FIMS as a game changer in their practice and THAT is why I teach it.”

“I stumbled upon pelvic health on a whim in 2013. Little did I know then that I would fall in love with the speciality and get to work with lovely individuals of all genders. Pelvic health isn’t a “niche” specialty, it is foundational human movement. When we empower clinicians with the tools to assess and treat the pelvic floor, we aren’t just fixing a muscle, we are giving people their confidence, their intimacy, and their quality of life back.

I’m conducting the Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy: The Practice-Ready Intensive this June because I want to bridge the gap between “ortho” and “pelvic.” I want to take the intimidation out of internal exams and show you how to integrate this vital work into your daily practice with confidence and ease.

Chronic pain cases don’t need more guessing, they need better clinical reasoning.

Our FIMS (Functional IMS) course is built for physiotherapists who want to confidently treat complex, persistent pain using a neuropathic model that actually makes sense.

This isn’t just a dry needling course, it’s a shift in how you assess, think, and treat.

While this course is open to all physiotherapists, we’re proud to share that we are collaborating with Lifemark to provide high-level continuing education opportunities for their clinicians who want more from their practice.
