What if the real luxury is having less to do?

Less noise. Fewer decisions. More time to notice how your body actually feels.

We spoke with Lena Chien, owner of Core Atelier Pilates Singapore, following her immersive Pilates retreat in Vietnam about why changing our environment can change the way we experience movement - and why the most valuable part of a wellness retreat might be what you bring back into everyday life.

Discover how intentional movement, environment and recovery are reshaping luxury wellness retreats.

We spent a great few days with the Mindful Movement community at the Pilates Journal Expo in Miami.

Throughout the Expo, attendees moved on 40 V2 Max™ Reformers, with our Master Instructor Trainer, Jenna Hansen leading a workshop.

We also introduced the Merrithew NX3 Reformer to the Expo floor, while our CEO, Jim Heidenreich joined industry leaders on stage for a conversation on the future of mindful movement.

Thank you to everyone who moved, learned and connected with us in Miami!

From Toronto to Manila, our friends from STOTT PILATES® (STOTT PILATES® Academy) and Merrithew® (Merrithew® | STOTT PILATES®) proved that connections made with shared vision and same passion goes a long way — like thousands of miles.

Merrithew® Asia Pacific Education Team Lead Gwen (Gwen | Pilates & Travel) and Merrithew® Asia Pacific Sales Manager Jeff (Jeff) paid a visit to our studio and our future space.

Moments like these and conversations about our dreams for the future of mindful movement in the Philippines, paired with a whole lot of laughter and smiles, are some great reminders of why we’re taking bolder steps towards a bigger space, a stronger community, and grander dreams.

Cheers to the growing movement community and to the bright future of mindful movement!

What made Global Summit week so special? 🌎 Petra Kolber reflects on some of her favourite moments, from the people and conversations to the sense of community that brought it all together.

The next chapter of Merrithew is taking shape. For more than three decades, our story has been built around a belief in the power of movement - and the people who dedicate their lives to teaching, sharing and advancing it.

Today, that belief feels more relevant than ever.

Our industry is evolving. Movement is becoming more connected, more diverse and more deeply embedded in how people think about lifelong health and wellbeing.

And we're evolving with it.

As we look ahead, we see an opportunity to bring together more disciplines, more perspectives, more innovation and more people - while continuing to build on the education, quality and expertise that have shaped Merrithew from the beginning.

With GYROTONIC® and GYROKINESIS® methods now part of our global movement community, we're expanding the ways we support movement professionals while remaining deeply committed to the brands and disciplines that have defined our legacy. Together with STOTT PILATES® education and Align-Pilates equipment, we're building a stronger ecosystem of movement education and premium equipment that empowers instructors, studio owners and healthcare professionals around the world.

Our recent Global Summit brought our community together at an important moment in that journey. It reminded us that while our history gives us a strong foundation, our greatest opportunity is still ahead of us.

To continue learning. To continue innovating. To create meaningful connections across the global movement community. And to help shape what the future of movement can become.

This is more than the beginning of our new chapter. It's an opportunity to imagine what comes next - together. And we're only getting started.
