And with a click of “Leave Meeting” we have officially wrapped our very last Electric Moon show, program AND, well, our very last day of Electric Moon. 🌙😢Thank you for all the incredibly kind emails, calls, texts and dms, so many of you have sent over the last 6 weeks since we announced our closure - we are beyond thankful and humbled by every single one. 🙏The last five years with all of you has meant more than you’ll ever know. ❤️Keep singing, dancing, acting and every time you look up at the moon think of us and make it ELECTRIC. And curtain. 🌙⭐️

To our Electric Moon students, parents, teachers, family and friends:
I am writing with the unfortunate news that after almost 5 years, I have made the decision to shut down Electric Moon Theatre Company. Due to the ongoing impact of Covid-19 affecting our ability to work in schools and tour shows for young audiences, we are no longer in a position to continue operations. Thanks to all of you we managed to stay afloat this long, but as of March 10th, 2022 we will be closing our curtain one last time.
It has been a complete joy to have worked with and gotten to know all of you. To the teachers and school principals who booked our programs; to the parents whose children took our classes or went above and beyond to support us in a billion other ways; to those of you who welcomed us into your school or camp community or onto your home computer screens; to the friends who shared each Electric Moon social media post; to each audience member who cheered us on; and most of all to our students, who lit up our day just as much as we lit up yours, I am so thankful for each and every one of you.
We hope we made a difference in the lives of your students, your kids and your families. We created bonds with so many of the schools and camps we worked in and sparked a love of theatre in so many children. We accomplished everything I set out to do from the start and for that I will always be grateful.
I appreciate all your support and kind messages over the last few years as school programs got cancelled, we juggled ever-postponed tour dates and all the other obstacles that came our way. I am very proud of what we all built together and although the Electric Moon light will be turned off for now, I know I will work with many of you over the coming years in other ways.
"The moon is the first milestone on the road to the stars." - Arthur C. Clarke. Together we reached the Electric Moon and now it's time for all you stars to keep on shining for us. This isn't goodbye, just the grand finale for now.
