Toronto Veggie Toastmasters

Unfortunately, due to low attendance, Veggie Toastmasters has come to an end. We needed 20 paid members to become a chartered club, and it was becoming difficult to run meetings without enough regular participants. We gave it a good try for 8 months and had some good meetings!

Many thanks to Wayne for starting the club and bringing his Toastmasters expertise! And thanks to everyone else who attended! It's a great idea, we vegans and vegetarians have to explain ourselves and our causes so often so we need strong communication skills. Who knows, the club could rise again in the future!

Remember, meetings are bi-weekly now! The May meetings will be:

May 5 - room 304
May 19 - room 303

The next meeting is tomorrow (April 7) at 6:15 in room 304 of Metro Hall. The word of the day will be munificence!

Hello! Meetings will be biweekly from now on, the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of each month. Here are the dates for the next 2 months:

Finding us at Metro Hall....we often get room 303, but not always. But there's always an official list on boards like this around the entrances and escalators. It's small print but take a look at the list to find which room we're in. We also put Veggie Toastmasters signs on most of those boards about 30 mins before start time. BTW there are two other Toastmasters groups that meet at Metro Hall on Tuesdays, one called Go-Getters Toastmasters and one called Metro Hall Toastmasters, and they're on the list too. We're Toronto Veggie Toastmasters!
