Song: "Lwar Jewra" by Asha Sapera and Lo.Renzo (Rajasthan in Dub)
I had heard the traditional version of this song many years ago, and I'm truly excited by this dub version of it and hence chose this song for my dance opening. Intercultural collaborations always delight me.

Flashback Friday: a beautiful wedding where I performed this percussive piece choreographed by Ustod Mirzo Sattorov, originally choreographed to be performed in a Kulobi dress. I performed it here as part of a longer set with my troupe and hence a different outfit. It remains one of the most challenging pieces of my repertoire.
