Officially introducing our new Kids Program Head Coach, Fabricio Barbarotti!

We’re proud and excited to welcome Fabricio Barbarotti to the team as the new head coach of our Kids Program.

Fabricio is a 2nd Degree Black Belt under the legendary Cicero Costha, bringing with him years of high level training, competition experience, and a deep understanding of what it takes to develop young athletes.

His experience on the competition mats, combined with his technical knowledge and passion for teaching, will bring a new level of structure, intensity, and accountability to our Kids Program. His goal is not simply to teach techniques, but to help our young athletes develop the discipline, confidence, work ethic, and competitive mindset needed to reach their full potential.

With Fabricio leading the program, we’re raising the bar, not only in the way our kids train, but also in the standards we expect from them.

We’re excited for this next chapter and can’t wait to see what Fabricio and our kids accomplish together.

The International Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Federation (IBJJF) rulebook does not explicitly name "tickling" as an illegal technique. However, attempting to tickle an opponent in a serious match can result in a referee disqualification under rules against unsportsmanlike conduct or disrespectful behavior.

Our Action Reaction Kids Program is designed to introduce young athletes to Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in a fun, safe, and structured environment.

Kids (Ages 3–5)
Ages 3–5 focus on movement, coordination, balance, body awareness, basic Jiu-Jitsu skills, and—most importantly—having fun while learning.

Youth (Ages 6–8)
Ages 6–8 begin developing stronger fundamentals, technique, discipline, problem-solving, and confidence through age-appropriate Jiu-Jitsu training.

From their first class to their first competition, we help kids build skills that extend far beyond the mats.

Learn. Move. Grow.

🗓️ REMINDER: Monday, August 3, there won't be regular classes due to the Civic Holiday. However, we will be offering an Open Mat from 12 to 2 PM at our North York location. 🥋

Classes will be back to normal on Tuesday, August 4.
