Payroll plays a critical role in the financial wellbeing of every working Canadian. As a profession, we have a responsibility to reflect the same standards of fairness, accuracy and consistency in how we support people.

At the National Payroll Institute, we took a deliberate approach before introducing a formal EDI statement. Rather than starting with words, we focused on doing the work. Over time, we engaged members, conducted research and established member-led committees to ensure diverse perspectives are represented in the conversations shaping our profession.
