Celebrating with a treat? Eating food outside your 'box?' Scared this will send you SPIRALING????
Although this sounds like it isn't helpful for weight loss and food compulsion, adopting a FLEXIBLE MINDSET prepares you for ANY challenging food situation.
Challenges come up all the time -
π΅ Seeing enticing food get delivered to a table.
π€ Late dinners.
π Feeling hungry despite it not being 'time to eat.''
π Celebrating with food.
βΊοΈ Not being hungry at your usual mealtime.
π₯° Hanging with friends who are eating food you typically don't have.
Remaining FLEXIBLE helps PREVENT binge eating, and keeps you ON TRACK for weight loss.
You don't have to go crazy when you eat, and you don't have to keep up with anyone else. Eat at your own pace and consume varying amounts depending on how you're feeling
And most of all, remember this WILL NOT DERAIL you!!!! You will NOT GAIN WEIGHT when employing intuitive eating techniques in these situations!!!

Binge eating is EXHAUSTING.
- entertaining constant food thoughts
- constant battle of willpower
- always counting calories
- finding ways to 'undo' a binge
- feeling physically awful
- worried about judgement
Food Freedom is AMAZING
- Feel free about food
- Being able to focus on what matters most
- Capable of focusing 100% on the present
- Feeling satisfied
- Trusting your body as you make choices
- Never feeling deprived
- Enjoying all foods

Stuffing your emotions down with food to feel better comes at a BIG cost.
The emotions that get stuffed will co tinue to try to come up, meaning using food to comfort yourself becomes the norm.

Skipping intuitive eating can set you up for chasing after foods you find more 'acceptable.'

Start becoming aware of HOW BINGE EATING MAKES YOU FEEL.
CREATE YOUR pros and cons list.
This is NOT an exercise of judgement, just awareness.
There are lots of positives to binge eating. There are also many positives to feeling in control of your food.
IT'S OK THAT BINGE EATING HAS ADVANTAGES!
IT'S ALSO OK TO WANT SOMETHING DIFFEEWNT FOR YOURSELF.
Change occurs when you become aware.
Use this as your FIRST STEP.

Judgement of Others?
Self-Blame?
Victimization?
Self-Sabotage?
All-or-Nothing?
What thoughts are not serving you? What is leading you down a destructive path?
Binge eating is one of the behaviours that play into all of this.
It's serving a purpose.
But maybe it's time to find behaviours that fill your cup, instead of one's that trigger you to spiral out of control.

Let's face it... you can't forever swear off certain foods. Eventually, you're going to have them.
Contrary to what the dieting industry has you believe, you don't have to restrict ANY food from your diet.
You'll end up feeling guilty when you do eat these foods, which will lead to more eating.
You can STOP THIS CYCLE by simply shifting your focus to living life and not on what happens when you eat the wrong thing.
