“Do you get tired of doing all the things?”

I get asked this all the time...

Do I get tired of: • Going to bed and waking up at the same time? • Working out 5 days a week? • Walking every single day?

The truth? I don’t get tired because these aren’t just tasks on my to-do list - they form the very foundation of who I am. 💫

Here’s what most people miss: We’re either moving forward with purpose or we’re stagnating. Our health is never just “staying the same.” As we age, our bodies are naturally breaking down.

I do this for my girls. 👧👧 To show them what’s possible. To be the example they need. To stay active and healthy so I can make precious memories with them for years to come.

Because our children don’t listen to what we say - they watch what we DO. Every time I choose movement, every time I prioritize sleep, every time I nourish my body... I’m showing them how to love themselves. ❤️

I also do this for my 80-year-old self - the woman who wants to: • Play with her grandchildren • Live independently • Travel the world • Stay active and vibrant.

Daily movement, consistent sleep, proper nutrition - these aren’t burdens. They’re GIFTS I don’t take for granted. 🙏

The mindset shift that changes everything: Stop doing things just to get results. Start doing them because they’re part of who you want to BE. 💥

This is what I teach in my 6-month transformation program for women 40+. It’s time to: • Give up the diets • Work on who you’re BEING • Get your hormones & gut health tested• Deepen your relationship with yourself • Build sustainable nutrition knowledge.

Because without your health, none of your dreams are possible. ✨

Struggling with midlife health?

Ready to: • Feel lit up • Find your purpose • Take real action

Drop “GUIDE” in the comments for my hormone balancing guide! This is the first step to creating a foundation of vibrant health, because you can’t balance any hormone without addressing blood sugar!👇

✨Why I’m starting bio-identical hormone therapy—before menopause even hits.✨

Let’s get real for a minute. I’m fully committed to doing everything I can to support my health—and yes, that includes looking and feeling incredible at every age. 💁‍♀️ Prevention is my philosophy. Whether it’s through balanced nutrition, managing stress, getting quality sleep, or staying active, I believe in being proactive with my well-being, because waiting until there’s a problem? That’s not my style.

A huge part of my drive comes from watching my own mother suffer with metabolic disease that has caused vascular dementia. And here’s the thing—she’s not overweight. This isn’t just about weight; it’s about overall health, and seeing her struggle has fueled my passion for educating women on how to maintain their health as they age.

The truth is, long before menopause, your hormones are quietly impacting nearly every major organ in your body—your brain, bones, heart, muscles, and yes, even your va**na. 😏

Women’s health often takes a hit after menopause, with increased insulin resistance, inflammation, higher risks of diabetes, and unsettling changes in blood work like high cholesterol and elevated A1C levels.

And while sleep, nutrition, stress management, and exercise are the foundation, they can’t prevent the inevitable decline in s*x hormones. That’s why I’m taking it one step further with bio-identical hormone therapy—to protect my health, age with grace, and let’s be honest, keep looking fabulous as the years go by. 😉

For me, being proactive isn’t just about fixing issues after they appear—it’s about thriving and staying ahead of the game. I’m here to feel strong, stay sharp, and continue living in a body I love at every stage.

Follow along as I share my journey! Have questions or thoughts about hormone therapy? Drop a comment or send me a DM!

And don’t forget to check out ‘s newly published book, *The Great Menopause Myth*—it’s a must-read for every woman who wants to take charge of her health and aging process.

The photo on the left was taken the morning of my 40th Birthday.

Socially there is a lot of fear surrounding women as they move into their 40’s. I felt that, for sure.

This was not meant to be a “before” picture. This was a 40 year old Nutritionist and Mom of two who was proud of her body, health and fitness level.

I hadn’t done any “diet” or excessive training to get there. I simply focused on health. I know better than to put a ton of pressure on myself to achieve a goal by a certain date. For me that always led to a self-sabotage spiral.

Right after taking this picture I went to the dock to journal. It was there I decided my goal was “to get stronger every year”.

There was no specifics, no end date, no plan, just a commitment to myself and my health to continue to up-level what I was currently doing.

This is what focusing on whole food nutrition, balancing blood sugar at every meal, being committed to sleep and recovery and challenging myself to always lift heavier looks like.

Consistency and a commitment to a lifetime of health and vitality.

My weight is 113 pounds in both pictures!!

If I had the mindset that eating healthy was only “worth it” if it yielded short term results based on a scale like so many people do, would I have continued?

Probably not, as it seems that’s why so many people “give up”.

There is nothing about eating “healthy” that doesn’t work. No matter the outcome you are always, every single day with every choice, building a healthier, stronger body.

You get to have goals, you get to want to improve and get stronger and yes even lose weight..but please look deeper at the same time at what health actually does for you.

Healthy eating and listening to your body is a life long commitment. So who cares how long it takes, keep looking back to see how far you’ve come and learn to enjoy the journey.

Signed the proud 48 year old women who’s still getting stronger and loving the journey.

If you’re ready to commit to your health and transform not only your body but your health and your mindset, comment “Yes” below and apply for my August group transformation program.

This podcast episode is one that I thought about deleting. I hadn’t posted an episode in two weeks and when I sat down to do this one I wasn’t sure that I had got my point across.

Yes, even after three years of podcasting, I still sometimes have self-doubt creep in.
I pushed that aside and gave it to my team to publish anyway.

I’m glad I did, I’ve received a lot of positive feedback on this one. It’s real, it’s vulnerable and it’s a glimpse into how I prioritize what’s really important to me and allow myself to pivot.

1. Taking a Break to Reassess:
Sometimes, you need to hit pause to figure out what’s really important. I took this time to listen to my heart and mind, letting go of commitments that no longer align with my vision.

2. The Power of Clarity:
During my break, I gained so much clarity. It became clear that saying yes to one thing often means saying no to something else. When you know what’s important, letting go becomes easier.

3. Quitting the Half Marathon:
I made the tough decision to quit training for a half marathon. It wasn’t easy, but I realized it wasn’t serving my overall goals and well-being. This decision freed up my energy for what truly matters.

4. Lessons from “Quit” by Annie Duke:
Have you ever read “Quit” by Annie Duke? It’s a game-changer. She talks about the power of walking away. It’s not about quitting but strategically letting go to make room for what really matters.

5. Navigating Transitions:
Life is full of changes, especially for us women in midlife. By prioritizing what’s important, you can navigate these transitions with grace and confidence.

6. Hormonal Health and Wellness:
Let’s not forget about our health. Hormonal changes during perimenopause are real. I’ve got some tips on managing your hormonal health through nutrition and self-care.

“Letting go of what no longer serves you isn’t a loss; it’s a powerful step toward clarity and fulfillment.”- Ciara Foy

If you’re struggling with your weight, I promise you, that prioritizing sleep is what you need to dial in!

Sleep is something we often push aside when life gets hectic. While you may have been able to “get by” in your 20s and 30s that comes to a screeching stop in your 40s!

Quality sleep is one of the most powerful tools we have to support our body composition during perimenopause! Here’s why:

1. Insulin Sensitivity- Sleep helps regulate insulin, the hormone that controls our blood sugar levels. Lack of sleep can lead to insulin resistance, making it harder to manage weight and cravings. Getting enough sleep keeps your insulin levels steady, helping you lose weight.

2. Cortisol Balance- Ever felt stressed and noticed it’s harder to stay calm? That’s cortisol at work. High levels of cortisol from poor sleep can lead to weight gain, especially around the midsection. Forget the gimmicky “juice”! By prioritizing sleep, you help keep cortisol in check, reducing stress and its effects on your body.

3. Melatonin Magic- Melatonin isn’t just vital for a good night’s sleep; it also has protective properties against insulin resistance and weight gain. As we age, our natural melatonin decreases, so maximizing its production through better sleep routines is important.

4. Boosting Human Growth Hormone (HGH)- Sleep is a primary driver of HGH, which helps maintain, build, and repair healthy tissue. This hormone is crucial for a healthy metabolism and helps burn fat and build muscle. Deep sleep phases are when HGH peaks, so getting in those hours is key for optimal body composition.

Making sleep a non-negotiable part of your life isn’t just about feeling rested. It’s about giving your body the support it needs to thrive during perimenopause. From stabilizing your mood to sculpting your physique, sleep does it all.

If you want to learn more about how you can control your blood sugar to help you lose weight, manage cortisol, sleep better, ditch brain fog and have more energy…

Comment “SLEEP” to attend my LIVE free workshop tomorrow “Sleep Mastery for Hormone Balance & Weight Loss”!
