Peak Healthcare Private College Peak College is Registered as a private career college under the Private Career Colleges Act, 2005

The objective of the Personal Support Worker (PSW) program is to train students to acquire the competencies needed to care for individuals living in the community or long-term care facilities. Students learn to recognize and attend to the emotional and physical needs of those in their care. PSW students are educated in personal hygiene, household management, meal preparation, mobility and ongoing medical conditions and medications, activation, and specialized equipment. Graduates may find employment in group homes, long-term care facilities, home health care agencies, rehabilitation clinics, hospices, retirement home/residences, and hospitals.

🎉 Celebrating 1 Year of PEAK MOMENTS with Himagas Toronto!

Peak College was proud to support Himagas Toronto’s 1st Year Anniversary & Product Launch on September 27.

More than an anniversary, it was a celebration of entrepreneurship, community, good food, and the milestones that bring people together.

We especially loved seeing our “Celebrating 1 Year of PEAK MOMENTS” collaboration come to life throughout the celebration.

Congratulations to the entire Himagas TO team on this milestone. Thank you for allowing Peak College to be part of your first-year journey and here’s to many more milestones ahead!

Yesterday, September 25, the Peak College team had the opportunity to take part in the Career Fair at The Peoples Church in North York, connecting with individuals exploring new career and education opportunities.

We enjoyed meeting so many people, hearing about their goals, answering questions, and sharing how training as a Personal Support Worker (PSW) can be a step toward a meaningful career in healthcare.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has announced a new temporary measure that may allow eligible work permit holders already in Canada to study in programs of up to 6 months without applying for a study permit.

The measure is intended to help workers develop in-demand skills while continuing to contribute to Canada's workforce—including in key sectors such as healthcare.

If you've been thinking about building a career in healthcare, this may be a good time to explore your options.

Peak College offers the Personal Support Worker (PSW) Program, designed to prepare students with the knowledge, practical skills and clinical experience needed for a career supporting individuals in our communities.
