Dyslexia Is Not the Same for Every Student
Two students with dyslexia may struggle with reading for different underlying reasons, even if their reading level looks similar.

2. Phonological Difficulties Are Common — but Not the Only Issue If a student isn’t making expected progress with phonics alone, it doesn’t mean the instruction is wrong — the student may need additional visual or orthographic supports.

3. Dyslexia Exists on a Continuum

Connected by difference.

To be Sonderly, means to be cognizant that everyone on this earth is living out their own individual story. They are experiencing a vivid and complex life, just as you are. Everyone has a story. Especially those who think differently.

We cultivate this realization and outlook of the overall human experience by empowering others to celebrate neurodiversity in their communities. We value diversity in all forms and the inclusion of it. Since 1991, originally under the name of Geneva Centre for Autism Training Institute, Sonderly has sought to democratize the knowledge and skills that were typically only accessible to trained professionals. We curate and decode clinical research, presenting it in a user-friendly way that provides practical tools to take you beyond just awareness. Our goal is to affect bigger change.

Our multi-disciplinary approach to identifying and developing training materials will ensure that professionals will continue to receive the most relevant and effective training available. Sonderly addresses the need for wider public awareness and education on neurodiversity, specifically Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), by providing cutting edge training and education to professionals and families supporting individuals with ASD.

Our brand promise is to deliver the core foundational training as well as the latest research findings and intervention techniques. At the end of the day, we’re clinicians and mentors working to empower you to unite your community by embracing the uniqueness in your own life story - as vivid and complex it may be - and in the world around you.
