He was consecutively appointed Operations Manager, Vice President – Technical Services, Senior Vice President – Business and Channel Development, Deputy CEO/Principal Officer in Botswana. He is currently working as Chief Technical Officer at National Insurance Company in Mauritius. Having successfully led teams of more than 750 people, Sorens was selected as finalist Sales Director of the British Excellence Sales and Marketing Award (BESMA) in 2010 after demonstrating his exceptional achievement in Sales. Sorens holds an Executive MBA and is a qualified member of the Chartered Insurance Institute UK. He is a fellow member of the Institute of Sales & Marketing Management and Australian and New Zealand Institute of Insurance & Finance - Certified Insurance Professional. Today, as a Certified Canfield Trainer, Sorens has decided to pursue this route by sharing his knowledge and experience through Achievers Trail to develop and guide the upcoming leaders to live their dreams.
