➡️Electrolytes are minerals in the blood, tissue & throughout the body. Their name refers to the fact that they have an electrical charge. ✨

❇️We need electrolytes to balance water levels, move nutrients, remove waste, allows nerves to send signals, enables muscles to relax & contract, maintains brain & heart function & our mood. 😎

➡️Examples of electrolytes are: sodium, potassium, calcium, magnesium, phosphate, chloride & bicarbonate.

🦋Now low electrolytes are not the ONLY reason you may have felt anxious or depressed as there are many contributing factors (**this is why we use a holistic step by step approach to healing at Health SHEro) BUT studies have found biological commonalities with people affected by anxiety & depression and one of those was low electrolytes.

Our emotions are actually a gift, although it sure doesn’t feel like that sometimes.

When you are feeling down, you will not what to do anything. But this is when you need to take loving action to honour yourself.

It’s really important not to bury our emotions or drink them or eat them away or pretend we’re happy when we’re not.

It’s important we honour & FEEL our emotions without dwelling in them so we can transmute them. 🦋

How can we do that?

✨Meditate

✨Journal

✨Spend time in Nature

✨Use grounding essential oils if you’re feeling anxious or uplifting oils if feeling down or depressed

✨Eat clean, you need extra nutrients when stressed

✨Double up on your whole food supplements and avoid multi-vitamins

✨Avoid alcohol it’s a depressant

✨Honour your body by resting & getting extra sleep
