From studying Russian in Moscow, apprenticing with a sculptor and spending 20 years in the energy industry, to founding a kelp-forestry company and an international school in Namibia, Daniel’s path after TFS has been anything but conventional. 🌊🌿

In our latest Après TFS, Daniel reflects on his journey, the lessons he took from TFS, the power of multilingualism and why doing what’s right—especially when it comes to our relationship with nature—matters more than ever.

🎉 TFS Celebrates the Grand Opening of the West Campus Athletic Center — with a Special Visit from Scottie Barnes!

We proudly celebrated the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting of the new West Campus Athletic Center and the occasion got an extra dose of excitement with a visit from Toronto Raptors () star Scottie Barnes (.boy.scottie) 🏀🦖✨.

The morning began with students parading into the gym, proudly displaying their house and athletic colours. Remarks were delivered by M. Bédos, M. Urfels, and Adrien Cavey, Consul General of France in Toronto. Alumni Marissa Thiel '08 and Charlotte Knapp '18 also took the stage to share their inspiring personal journeys in honor of this major occasion.

Scottie spent time with the community, sharing with students during a Q&A session about all things basketball, work ethic and staying active, before jumping into a game of Basketball Knockout that had the whole gym buzzing.

Merci beaucoup a Scottie Barnes, Adrien Cavey, Charlotte Knapp, Marissa Thiel and the entire TFS community for making this grand opening one to remember! ♥️

We had the honour of hosting a momentous occasion as we welcomed our generous donors to unveil the new Athletic Centre at our West Campus. 🏀✨

Our Head of School, Jean-Bastien Urfels, and West Campus Principal, Ulrik Bédos, cut the ribbon, officially marking the opening of the new facility.

This new gym, Gymnase Kaneff, has been a long-awaited dream for our TFS West Campus community, and it simply would not have been possible without your immense support. Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating this incredible milestone. Together, our West Campus community has raised more than $4 million through the Can’t Wait! campaign, helping make transformative projects like this one a reality.

Go Cougars! 💙

Allez Cougars ! 💙

Merci à Josée Turcotte, LL.M, ICD.D., FCG, GCB.D, CCB.D, Rob Galaski, Sunny Lowe and Stephen Dasko.

Each September, our Grade 1 students are formally presented with a blue tie to commemorate this significant academic milestone. 👔✨At the West Campus, members of the Grade 7 class joined the Grade 1 students to ceremoniously present and assist them with donning their ties.

Nous adressons nos plus sincères félicitations aux élèves de CP et les encourageons vivement à maintenir cette belle dynamique jusqu’à l’attribution de la cravate rouge au niveau V. 🎉❤️

🎉 Happy Professional Development Week!

This week is all about growth, connection and new beginnings as we welcome our newest staff members to the team. We're excited to come together and invest in our shared mission as educators.

As part of today’s sessions, we had the opportunity to hear from Njeri Damali Sojourner-Campbell () from Hicks Morley (), whose thoughts on recognizing dignity and worth in our work added a thoughtful layer to our conversations. A great way to kick off a week full of learning and collaboration! 🍎✨
