Our next paper reading group session will take place on Nov 21st 2022 from 6PM-7:30PM in IC-200. No previous research/data science/machine learning experience is required. Everyone is welcome!

Our paper reading group sessions consist of our Academics team presenting a research paper and explaining its content in an easy-to-understand way. Time is given during the session for the group to discuss the paper and ask questions as well.
A short summary of the research paper can be found on the registration form. Attendees are not required to read the paper beforehand, but are welcome to do so.

We looked at a thought-provoking paper that tackled AI and Ethics.
How are the AI Ethical practices currently implemented, who is responsible for their framework, and how they are managed.

Our Intro to Data Science workshop took place last Friday! π₯³
A huge thank you to Professor Sotirios Damouras for facilitating the workshop, and thank you to everyone who came out! β€οΈ
Attendees gained experience working with R and tidyverse (a collection of R packages designed for data science), and were also able to manipulate, explore, and visualize real-world data under Professor Damouras's guidance.

We hold our Annual General Meeting this Wednesday for Everyone in the club met with someone who also have enthusiasm in Data Science area and to communicate where their interest lies at. We also do icebreaker game to get peers more familiar with each other.
