At the heart of Medicine Without Margins: HER Health is a vision rooted in advocacy, purpose, and a commitment to creating meaningful change.

We celebrate Dr. Adri-Anna Aloia, founder of the Foundation of International Medical Graduates, whose vision, advocacy, and hands-on leadership continue to shape the foundation’s work.

What began as an idea rooted in advocacy came to life through an evening of meaningful conversations, inspiring voices, and a community united by a shared purpose.

Medicine Without Margins: HER Health was a reflection of what can happen when purpose becomes action.

We are grateful to our speakers, panelists, guests, advocates, friends, family, and community for coming together and making this evening truly special.

September is Perimenopause Month. But how much do we actually know about what happens during perimenopause—and how it can affect women’s health?

Perimenopause is the time leading up to menopause, when hormone levels fluctuate and change. For some women, the first noticeable sign may be changes in their periods. Others may experience hot flashes, sleep changes, mood changes, vaginal dryness, or changes in sexual health.

And while every woman’s experience is different, understanding these changes can be an important part of knowing your body and advocating for your health.

That’s why Hormonal Health is one of the focuses of Medicine Without Margins: HER Health.
