How do you set up for an online piano lesson???

1. Place your laptop or IPad on a chair, piled up with some books to raise the height so the screen shows your hands and the keyboard in view.

2. Place the chair off to the side so it views your hands, but you can still turn to see your instructors hands.

That’s it in simple terms. Of course, you can get all fancy with webcams, boom mic stands, adapters, etc. That’s the set-up I use for teaching, but as a student, this is all you need!!!
