1. Situationships
These ambiguous, non-committal relationships can prevent you from finding genuine connection and waste emotional energy on something going nowhere.
2. “It is just money. It will always come back”
This dismissive attitude toward financial responsibility can lead to poor money management and missed opportunities for building wealth and security.
3. Applying to schools for prestige & not their career or financial fit
Choosing education based on status rather than practical outcomes can lead to debt and misaligned career paths.
4. “Take things easy, you are only in your 20s”
While balance is important, your 20s are actually crucial for building foundations, developing skills, and creating momentum for your future
5. “What is for you, will never miss you”
This fatalistic thinking can lead to passivity & waiting for things to happen instead of actively pursuing goals and opportunities. What is meant for you, will in fact, miss you if you aren’t putting in an effort.
