Yesterday, my clumsiness decided to take hold of my entire life 🤦🏽‍♀️but that didn't stop me from enjoying a yummy bowl of six grain and fungi congee! Of course. It has to be paired with stir fry beef and veggies and a lot of crushed chili (gotta make my chili oil!)



Congee, which is a Chinese rice porridge, is my absolute favurpite when it comes to cold weather, feeling a little sick, or just needing to eat while not having an appetite. My favourite place in Toronto is Congee Queen. Check them out!

Did I really just have ramen for breakfast again? 100%! And is that energy drink in a tiny tea cup? Sure is! Oh, also, is that a gulab jamun in a tiny toilet bowl? Yes! Yes, it is! is back! Which means we feast all the time!

I know what you're all going to say, ramen and energy drinks and Indian sweets are soooo bad for you 🙄 But is it really? Sure, my sodium and sugar are a little high at the moment, but this one little meal is not only keeping my sad depressive soul happy, but it's also fed me and keeping me from binging later on when the cravings for these will 100% intensify. So, to me, it's a win-win. Not a win-lose or a lose-win... how would that be said?

But also, peep the soft boiled egg, the stir fry shrimp, and let's not forget the seaweed and kimchi! (The only problem will be my IBS kicking my ass while I'm at the mall with Papa and my sister 🤭😅)

I'm glad to have started going for walkies. Because itsnnearing autumn the weather is perfect, not too hot, not cold as all! I've been seeing so many tiny flowers that now my camera reel is full of flowers! I don't care, though. They're so pretty! These little white ones may just be my favourites currently!

made me ramen yesterday. Did we have it as breakfast? We sure did! Before anyone jumps up saying it's not healthy, answer me this, why isn't it healthy? I had fish balls and an egg. The only thing I was actually missing was some veggies, but one meal without won't hurt! Sometimes, you just gotta eat whatever you're in the mood for, especially if that ensures you do eat!

Also, was the picture taken on the floor? It sure was!

I am definitely the type of person that believes breakfast is the most important meal of the day. However, I cannot eat as soon as I wake up, that's a big no go for me, my stomach starts hurting and life just becomes complicated! Today I decided yo make shakshuka, with black beans.

I'm supposed to be eating mainly low fodmap, but black beans are so good, and provides extra protein to help me combat the busy day I have ahead of me! Add a healthy sprinkle of nutritional yeast and you've got a good serving iron, potassium, and a wide variety of the B vitamins. On average adults need 2.4 mcg of B12, with just 1/4 of a cup of Nutritional yeast you get almost seven times the amount at 17.6 mcg of B12!

There are a lot more benefits than adding vitamins and minerals into our systems, it is also a miracle worker on acne, hair loss, and helping treat diarrhea!

😅 I've been a little MIA the last couple months. I dearly apologise. I've decided I can take on working two jobs and now meal prepping for a client as well. It isn't too difficult, because at least one of the two jobs is work from home.

This is one of the meals I made for my client this week. Tomatoes rice, shredded chicken, mixed veggies with black beans, and some cherry tomatoes on a rather large bed of spinach. I'll be honest, I definitely kept myself a little bit of everything, because this is such a great refreshing, light but filling meal. Perfect for these hot summer days.
