It was wonderful to see the majority of our centres participate in this year’s Professional Development Day, including teams travelling from as far as Niagara and Huron. Your dedication to professional growth and continuous improvement is truly appreciated.

It was especially inspiring to witness the leadership, commitment, and passion demonstrated by our supervisors as they continue to champion high-quality care and ongoing learning across our programs.

The day featured valuable training sessions on Managing Challenging Behaviours and Implementing a Compassionate and Informed Approach to Understanding and Supporting Individuals with Autism. These learning opportunities strengthen our ability to create inclusive, supportive, and responsive environments for all children and families.

🎳 Team Building Night at Huron Initiative! 🎳

Last night, Huron EYES Childcare team enjoyed a fun and engaging staff meeting at the bowling alley!

Spending time together outside the classroom helped strengthen teamwork, communication, and positive relationships among staff. Activities like these boost staff morale, encourage collaboration, and support us in continuing to create a caring, positive environment for the children and families in our daycare community.

Big things are happening in Edmonton!
Construction has officially started at our new location in the Stantec Building in downtown Edmonton, and soon we’ll be opening our doors to the community.

This centre is being built with a vision to become one of Canada’s leading centres — setting a new standard in quality, programming, services, and safety. We can’t wait to welcome you into a space designed to inspire, support, and serve our community for years to come.

It’s great to see new locations opening in Niagara despite the many challenges along the way, with another one still under construction. New enrollments are growing, the community is benefiting from increased access, and it’s wonderful to see more job opportunities being created for educators in the area. A positive step forward for everyone involved!

It was great to visit during the Supervisors’ Meet. These are the champions and leaders who wear multiple hats, managing entire programs, ensuring compliance, handling day-to-day challenges, and keeping their teams motivated.

They continuously strive to improve, all while providing safe, high-quality programs for children. Truly inspiring work.
