If your child was born in 2022 it is time for Kindergarten Registraion!

Today we say goodbye to a valued and pivotal member of the GAPS staff. Mr. Wray has been selected for a Vice Principal position at another school. While we are incredibly happy for him and this exciting next step in his career, he will be greatly missed by our school community.

We wish him every success in his new role and hope to see him back at GAPS in the future.

Reminder tomorrow is PA day. There is no school for students

District School Board Ontario North East is pleased to launch the Kindergarten Registration Contest to help your young learner get for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year.

Take and publish a photo of your child with their DSB1 Kindergarten t-shirt and to show how they are .

Visit a DSB1 elementary school in your area to register your child for Kindergarten and to receive a Kindergarten t-shirt and sign.

City crossing guards have been cancelled for tomorrow morning (January 23) due to extreme cld.

Timmins is under a yellow cold warning with temperatures expected to drop to -43 tomorrow morning inclusive of wind chill. Frostbite can develop within minutes on exposed skin.

Crossing guards are expected for afternoon shifts. We have communicated this to the local school boards.

What an amazing turnout for our very first Paint, Sip, and Snack night! It was so much fun seeing families come together, get creative, and show off their artistic talents. A huge thank you to Ms. Erica for taking the lead, and to all of our incredible staff who helped organize the event and make it such a huge success. We loved every minute of it and can’t wait to host more events like this in the future!

🚌 Busing Update for January 21st🚌

Most of our buses will be running tomorrow; however, some routes will be operating as partial routes. Please be sure to check the bus company website and any emails sent out in the morning for the most up-to-date and accurate information regarding your child’s bus.
