Hello families, my name is Brooklyn. I completed my Early Childhood Education diploma in April 2025 and am a registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE). In September, I will be running an unlicensed home childcare, combining my passion for working with children and my extensive experience.

I have over 10 years of experience in various roles, including working in home daycares, childcare centers, camp counselor, nanny, babysitter, and as an Activity Programmer with the City of Brantford.I look forward to providing a nurturing and engaging environment for children in my care.

🌸 Here are some key details about my home daycare:

🌼Play-Based Learning: I strongly believe that play-based learning is the best way for children to learn and grow. Through engaging activities and interactive play, I will foster their creativity, social skills, and cognitive development. I also provide circle time to create teacher-led lessons.

🌼I provide developmentally appropriate learning activities for children 12 months to 5 years old. I will also be having a summer program which encourages more free play.

🌼Quiet time: the children will be provided with a two hour consecutive rest period for napping and/or quiet activities.

🌼Nutritious Meals: two healthy snacks, with a lunch provided.

About My Daycare:
🌼 Open from 7:30-4:30
🌼 Play-based learning with circle time for teacher-led lessons
🌼 Preschool program (ages 24 months–4 years) during the school year (September–June)
🌼 Daily documentation
🌼 Summer program starting in June with more free play
🌼 Quiet time (2-hour rest period)
🌼 Nutritious meals: 2 snacks + lunch
🌼 Part and full-time care available to meet family needs. I am also open to providing drops-in.

*I will be going on maternity leave starting in January, so spaces are available until then*
