Learning isn’t just about book work at Telos Academy - it’s about hands-on, real-world experiences that really make a difference.

This is what project-based learning looks like, which is one of our primary learning methods at Telos.

Instead of learning a skill or academic subject in isolation, students learn through the process of solving a real problem or completing a meaningful project that ties in various skill sets and subject matter. Learning doesn’t happen in a bubble, after all!

📣 Our students at Telos Academy are hosting a lemonade stand on Monday, June 8 from 12 noon to 2 pm at Indigo Lounge.

Pop by for a cup of refreshing lemonade 🍋

This project is the culmination of discussions we had over several weeks where the students identified needs in the community, picked a community service project, did research, made marketing materials, tested recipes - and now they’ll be selling the lemonade!

After they pay for their expenses, the students have chosen to donate the proceeds to transitional housing in Tillsonburg.

We hope to see you there!
