🎥Synopsis: In 1918, Elizabeth (Beth) Smellie from Port Arthur, Ontario (now Thunder Bay) had just returned from the battlefields of Europe to face the worst Influenza pandemic in history. Her experiences transformed her. This hour long docu-drama will trace Beth Smellie’s vocation as a public health nurse. We will use dramatizations, archival footage, photographs, and sound design to tell the moving story of Canada’s Florence Nightingale.
