St. Patrick High School - Cooperative Education Program - Thunder Bay

On behalf of St Patrick High School, congratulations to Private Max Abraham, Private Will Jacobson, and Private Oscar Lebel for successfully completing Basic Military Training. It was an awesome graduation ceremony last night. We are very proud of you all!

Bianca is at Pioneer Ridge in the Environmental Services Department. She will be graduating this year with a Specialist High Skills Major in Construction. 🔨 👩‍🎓 💡

Co-op opportunities for students range from all different types of places. From a kindergarten class to a retirement home, Ella and Adele are getting first hand experience.

Sienna and Carson are at Confederation College participating in the Level 1 Automotive Service Technician Apprenticeship program.

Amira’s co-op placement is at St. Joseph’s Hospital’s pharmacy. What an amazing opportunity!! Thank you, Marianna, for teaching Amira about pharmaceuticals!

Tristan is working at The Clover Cafe in the St. Pats High School cafeteria. Students can purchase and enjoy a coffee or a cappuccino. They even sell scones and biscotti! Yummmm. Excellent work, Tristan!

Raegan pays close attention as he watches his colleague replace a bearing on an axle. Thank you Syncore for taking on one of our amazing St. Pat’s student.

Logan is fine tuning his automotive skills at Narvi’s Auto Service. Good job, Logan!

Abbi’s co-op placement is at Pet Valu. She’s learning a lot about proper nutrition for pets and how to clean fish tanks. Next time you see her, ask her how her pet lobster is doing!

Tristan is a SHSM student in the Hospitality and Tourism sector working at his co-op placement at the Victoria Inn. His dedication and commitment hasn’t gone unnoticed-he’s been offered summer employment! Way to go, Tristan.
