Beaver Valley Community School Beaver Valley Community School is a JK-8 school with more than 600 students in Bluewater District School Board.

BVCS is located in Thornbury at the base of the Blue Mountains. BVCS is nestled near the Niagara Escarpment and alongside the Beaver River.

The First Rider Program promotes education and awareness on school bus safety for young children riding a school bus for the first time and their parents/guardians.

This year, a video-only program is being offered instead of an in-person event. Families are invited to watch the video together.

The BVCS Probability Fair is on Wednesday, June 17th. Students from Grades 1 to 6 have the opportunity to purchase tickets to play games of chance (and win prizes!) created by Grade 5 students. Tickets are available to purchase on Monday and Tuesday and will also be available to purchase the day of the event.

Ticket prices are as follows:
3 tickets $2.00
10 tickets $5.00
Maximum $20.00

Proceeds from the event will go towards gym equipment.
