hood Educator I felt that opening a quality Family Home Child Care program within my beautiful new home in Thorburn, NS would be the best fit for myself, my family and the many children in the area who need a safe place to grow and learn. I value children and have been dedicated to educating and caring for them for nearly 2 decades! I make professional learning an important part of my pedagogy and am constantly updating myself on new and important topics in Early Childhood development. Fun and interactive play and learning mixed with loving and compassionate daily care is always my goal with all of my many students past and present. I pride myself in meeting children "where they are", offering them space, encouragement, and inclusive accommodations that allow them to become the best version of themselves. I am so glad I began this journey in 2016 and truly enjoy welcoming new families and children into Thorburn Child Care."
