Exciting Changes at Holy Angels Catholic School and St. Martin Catholic School.

We are pleased to share that Mrs. Lindsay Costa has accepted a transfer and will become the new Principal of Holy Angels School, effective August 17, 2026.

This transition follows Mrs. Kim Figliomeni’s appointment as Assistant Superintendent of Education with SNCDSB, also beginning August 17.

The Board will begin the process of filling the principal vacancy at St. Martin Catholic School.

We are excited for Lindsay and Kim as they begin these new roles and look forward to continuing to support our students, staff, and families.

🔥 FIRE BAN NOTICE 🔥

Effective July 15, 2026, all Municipal Open Air Burning Permits will be suspended until further notice.

No open air burning including campfires, is permitted within the community or anywhere within the boundaries of the Restricted Fire Zone while the ban remains in effect.

We appreciate everyone's cooperation in helping protect our community and surrounding forests. Please stay safe, be fire smart, and help prevent wildfires.

Due to the high to extreme fire hazard, increased wildland fire activity, the current fire load and to reduce the number of human-caused wildland fires, the Ministry of Natural Resources will be implementing a Restricted Fire Zone (RFZ) for the Northwest Region and a portion of the Northeast region, effective Wednesday, July 15 at 12:01 a.m. local time.
