Imagine stepping out of your comfort zone and diving headfirst into a wild adventure! That’s exactly what eight of our brave students from @cbuniversity did. They traded the familiar for the extraordinary, embarking on a journey that took them from the simplicity of a farm in Dehradun to the majestic heights of the Himalayas. And they did it all with the sun blazing down in record-breaking heat, making history while creating unforgettable memories. For two exhilarating weeks, our students immersed themselves in the rich tapestry of India’s culture and landscapes. They lived the rustic farm life and trekked for five days through the awe-inspiring Himalayas, facing every challenge with a smile. It was an experience like no other, offering them a unique glimpse into this beautiful country’s heart and soul. But the crowning jewel of their adventure? Climbing a mountain 12,500 feet (3,810 meters) above sea level! With the support of @gso.ecm and @univcanada, and funding from the Global Skills Opportunity program, our students’ transportation, accommodation, and food were all covered, ensuring they could focus on gaining invaluable global perspectives.
