Our Summer Sessions wrapped up with so much joy, curiosity, and community spirit.

From creative problem‑solving to hands‑on challenges, our learners showed up with energy and heart every single week. And to the parents, a big thank you for your trust, your encouragement, and your commitment to building a space where kids can explore math with confidence and playfulness.

This program was a success because all of you were part of it.

Celebrating Our Young Mathematicians!

Our students showed just how powerful curiosity, teamwork, and problem‑solving can be.

From designing healthy lunches using proportions and nutritional reasoning to optimizing transit routes with maps, data, and strategic thinking, our learners tackled real‑world challenges with creativity and determination.

We’re incredibly proud of their hard work, their collaboration, and the confidence they bring to every challenge. Our young mathematicians continue to inspire us with their energy and imagination.

Celebrating Creativity at JR Math! 🤩🥳

Our young mathematicians shone in a whole new way. Their focus, imagination, and teamwork came together beautifully as they created their own jewelry pieces.

A huge thank‑you to Paulina Osorio for leading this special activity. Her guidance, artistry, and kindness helped our learners explore new materials, express themselves, and discover the joy of making something with their own hands.

We’re proud of every student who participated, and grateful for the community that continues to support these creative moments. JR Math grows stronger because of all of you.

🌟 Free Summer Math Opportunity for Grades 6–8! 🌟

CBU Junior Math Academy Summer Sessions for students in Grades 6–8 from July 6–10.

This is not extra homework! Students will explore fun, creative, and hands-on math activities designed to build confidence, curiosity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in a supportive learning environment.

📅 When: July 6–10, 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
📍 Where: Multiversity Room, Cape Breton University
👧🏽👦🏻 Who: Students in Grades 6–8
💲 Cost: Free
* Limited seats available
Students should bring their own lunch. Small snacks will be provided.
