Monday, September 21st, our school held its annual Terry Fox Run. ❤️

Every year, this event warms our hearts as our students fill their “passports” — completing one lap for each province. What may look like a simple run is so much more: a beautiful display of perseverance, grit, community, and support for an incredible cause.

Terry Fox continues to be such an important role model for our students. He showed us that when we believe strongly in something, work hard, and refuse to give up, we can make a difference — and create change that reaches far beyond ourselves.

So proud of our students and the way they continue to carry Terry’s message forward. 🧡

A heartfelt thank you to a very generous MES family who has offered to share vegetables from their own garden with us after some of the vegetables from our school garden were taken.
It’s moments like this that remind us what makes our school community so special. Rather than focusing on what was lost, we are choosing to celebrate the kindness, generosity, and sense of community that surrounds our little school.
Your thoughtful gesture means so much to us — and I know our students will be thrilled to enjoy the fruits (and vegetables!) of your generosity.
Thank you for helping our garden grow in more ways than one.
