In March 1950, it was decided by the Commissioners of the School Municipality of Potton to obtain a site for a new school building.

In June of 1951, it was decided to build a new school at Mansonville to replace the existing intermediate school: a two-storey building of brick, containing 6 classrooms, principals' and teachers' rooms, assembly hall with stage and dressign room, kitchen and boiler room. In September 1953, the new school in Mansonville was officially opened. The old intermediate school was sold at public auction.

Good afternoon, MES Community!

Today is my last day before summer vacation, and I'll be back on Monday, August 17.

Thank you for a wonderful 2025–2026 school year! It has been a pleasure working with you and your children, and I look forward to seeing everyone again in the August.

I've emailed families the 2026–2027 school calendar, consumable lists, and statements of account. Transportation information will be available later in August, and I'll share those details once I return.

This summer I'll be taking some time to rest and recharge with my family and horses. I'll check my email occasionally and will respond as soon as I'm able.

Wishing you all a safe, relaxing, and happy summer!

Tara

What a wonderful Sandwich Day! 🥪

Our students put their creativity to work today, designing their own unique sandwiches while learning about healthy food choices and some not so much. We are excited to share their creations with our community—check out the attached link to see their amazing ideas!

Dear Manonsonville Community,

A huge thank you to all of the parents, family members, and community volunteers who helped make our Mud Run such a success yesterday!
From setting up the course to cheering on our students and lending a helping hand throughout the day, your support helped create an unforgettable experience filled with fun, teamwork, and smiles.
We are so grateful to be part of such a caring and supportive community. Thank you for helping make special moments like this possible for our students!

📢 Change in Plans! Please See Our Updated Fun Day Schedule!🎉

We’ve made a few adjustments to the day, seeing how Mother Nature is refusing to let up on the rain.

A few important reminders to help your child prepare:

🎭 Dress how you want! Whether it's comfy pjs, school colours, a favourite outfit, or something creative, students are encouraged to express themselves.

🥪 Bring a lunch and snacks. Students will be making and tasting sandwiches during the day, but some creations may be more "Master Chef" than delicious, so having a regular lunch is suggested.

🎲 Board games welcome! Students may bring a favourite board game from home to share, but don't worry—we'll have plenty available at school as well.

🎯 Start thinking about DIY carnival games! Students will have the opportunity to create their own carnival-style games, so it's a great time to start brainstorming fun ideas.
