The Grade 4-7 CESS Track & Field Meet will be held at McLeod Athletic Park this year on Tuesday, May 19th.

Athlete parents have been emailed all relevant details. Friends and family members are welcome to attend in support of students. 🏃‍♀️🏃

Please note, school will be closed on Friday, 15th for Pro D Day and Monday, 18th for Victoria Day (statutory holiday). We wish you a wonderful, blessed few days of rest and family time. ☀️

Recently, RCA Cloverdale was blessed with a visit from 🚒

We are so thankful for the brave community servicemen that we can rely on for help when we need it! 👨‍🚒🧯🚒

Students had the opportunity to meet real firefighters, explore the fire engine and learn more about the important work they do. We thank you for your service!

Our Grade 3’s took on a woodworking challenge with the wonderful Mrs. Brinston as they built their very own “chickadee hotel” bird houses in preparation for summer. 🐥🪺🏠

Students followed step-by-step instructions to construct their projects and transformed them into their own unique masterpieces with creative detail.

Well done Grade 3’s! 🐥We are proud of you!

Grandparents & Grandfriends Day is coming up! 👵🧓

RCA honours the gift and importance of our grandparents and the elderly in our community. Join us on Tuesday, May 5th from 9:00 - 10:30am for a special time with students.

Parents, if you have the capacity to either volunteer on the day, or provide a plate of eats, please refer to the sign-up link in last week's newsletter. We'd greatly appreciate your help and support.

🌞Summer Uniform! 🌞

A friendly reminder that we will be switching over to summer uniforms from Friday, May 1st.

During the summer, students are not required to wear their sweater for the first block of the day, and have the option of wearing navy sorts. When wearing shorts, students should wear a white or black low-profile show with white socks.

Reminder! 📣

Tomorrow is going to be an exciting day at RCA Cloverdale - get ready for character dress-up day and hot lunch (Subway)!

Come dressed as your favourite character from books, movies or TV! Student's outfits on theme day must be in line with RCA's Personal Appearance Standards. No masks, scary, questionable or suggestive attire is allowed.

Note, students who choose not to participate should wear their scheduled uniform.

We will also have an all school chapel in the Sanctuary tomorrow, with our Grade 3 class leading. We warmly invite you to attend and join us for parent coffee connect in the church foyer afterwards.
