SharePoint error
Cannot share a subfolder with an external user
Error: ResponseStatusNotOK (Entra B2B)
Guests invitations not allowed for your company
Azure AD - External Identities - External collaboration settings – Guest invite settings - does not fix the issue.
The subfolder ended up with a separate permission set from the main folder and over time, that permission set became inconsistent, which caused:
1. Users with access to the main folder not having access to the subfolder
2. Owners not having full control as expected
3. Errors when trying to share the folder
To prevent this,
1. Prefer sharing via groups where possible (instead of individual users)
2. Avoid repeatedly resharing the same subfolder with different individuals over time
3. If a folder starts behaving oddly (access errors, sharing failures), it’s usually a sign the permissions need to be reset

Renewing Addigy Certificate
Addigy is a cloud-based Mobile Device Management (MDM) and endpoint management platform
1. Download the Certificate Signing Request (CSR) from Addigy.
2. Upload the CSR to Apple’sPush Notification Site
3. Download the renewed .pem certificate
4. Upload the renewed certificate back to Addigy.
Desktop icons not showing up
The laptop is domain‑joined and configured with Folder Redirection for Desktop and Documents to a LAN‑only file server.
When the user was off the network and no VPN available, the system could not reach the file server and the domain controller.
- Redirected the Desktop manually to OneDrive and Updated the registry: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\User Shell Folders - Desktop – copy-paste: %USERPROFILE%\OneDrive\Desktop
- Restarted Windows Explorer.
Shut down a Dell Server after performing the following tasks:
- Logged on both servers, iDRAC, and iLO to gather the necessary information
- Enabled Maintenance Mode in N-Able
- Expanded RAID 5 on the new HP Server by adding another Drive (had to bring the drive online via iLO and add it to the RAID 5 via MR)
- Moved VMs (including VEEAM VM) from the Old Server to the New Server
- Disjoined the Old Server from the Domain and removed it from N-Able
- Unplugged the Old Server.
Fixed a Sage error by installing Outlook Classic 32-bit
