Hey Polar Bears!
We’re having a double-header spirit day this Friday!

Students can choose to dress like their favourite era and get ready to shake it off, or represent their favourite team by wearing a sports jersey! We can’t wait to see all the school spirit! ✨

Hi Parkside Families!

In an effort to encourage and engage our French Immersion students to express themselves in French, we are starting a fun, school wide recognition system called "La Phrase Fantastique!". Each week we will share "La phrase fantastique" on the morning announcements and encourage students to use it throughout their day with staff and students. When they are "caught" using "la phrase fantastique!" they will get a ticket as pictured below to be entered in a draw at the end of the week for a small prize.

We are passionate about our French Immersion and Core French students being proud and confident in their abilities to speak in French and hope this will be a fun way to hear French in our hallways! Please ask your student to tell you what "la phrase fantastique!" is at home and even encourage them to use it with you in a sentence :). All students are welcome to participate.

Thank you for your continued support!

Parkside families!!! We are still in need of volunteers for our breakfast program to be successful. Please share this post so we can continue with our amazing breakfast program 4 days a week. ❤️🍞 🧀

Rise and shine, Parkside families! ☀️

School breakfast programs play a critical role is student health, academic performance, and overall school culture. In the past, Parkside’s Breakfast has fed our students 4 days a week, serving up delicious morning options like smoothies, toast with cheese, yogurt tubes, muffins, croissants, and fruit bars! 🥐🧀

This program is run entirely by volunteers. To keep this valuable program running smoothly and ensuring we can continue 4 days a week, we are in need of more volunteers!

💙 schedule: 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM (just 1 hour!)
💙 frequency: 1 morning a week
💙 duties: preparing toast for classrooms

Make a big difference in just 60 minutes! If you are interested in joining our breakfast program team, please email Danielle Keough-Delgado at [email protected]

We are looking forward to another amazing year at Parkside!
