Good morning parents. As we are now moving into the homestretch of the school year there are a few important dates to note.

May 28 - Family Fun Night 5:00 - 7:00 PM

June 19 - Grade 6 Field Trip

June 23 - Grade 6 Closing 1:00 PM. Report Cards go home.

June 24 - K - 5 Field Trips

June 25 - Last Day of Classes (BBQ - Hot dogs, cookies, juice provided by Home and School)

Hello Parents & Guardians,

Parkside’s Family Fun Night is coming up on May 28, and we are looking for volunteers to help make the evening a success!

We are looking for help any time between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM with:
- Games & activities
- BBQ
- Food & drinks
- Ticket collection
- General event support

Whether you are available for part of the evening or the entire event, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Exciting news!! Parkside Family Fun Night is back!!! Order forms are going home tonight!

Some important things to note:
✅ Name and homeroom NEED to be on EVERY order form.
🗓️ Bracelets & tickets distribution: Monday, May 25 students will receive their tickets and bracelets
🏒 Hockey Shootout: students can vote this week on which staff member they want to see in the net!
⭐️ Special Guests: we have 2 Caps players coming to join us!

WOW PARKSIDE! What an amazing, sunny afternoon cleaning up our community ☀️ we were blown away by the donations our students collected throughout the community… our goal was $3000 and we are so excited to announce we DOUBLED our goal and have raised $6,428.25!!!!!! We are so proud of each and every student for their work in helping keep our community clean! And a big thank you to everyone who donated to our fundraiser 💙

Hi Parkside families!



We are a few days into Parkside’s community clean up fundraiser. This is a great way for students to see the importance of taking care of our community. Students can reach out to family and friends for pledges and this money will be used for schoolwide activities that give our students the opportunity to connect with community activities and events.



Our community clean-up will take place on Wednesday, May 6th. We are asking for money and pledge forms to be returned that day as well. 😊

Classes will be well supervised during the clean-up and teachers will talk to students beforehand so they know what is safe to pick up.



If we reach our school wide goal of $3000, we will have an outdoor afternoon at the park with treats and games!
