Trinity Christian Academy - Strathmore

We made it! Kindergarten celebrated our year of hard work and fun with a celebration day! Our grown ups came to join us and every Kindergartener was recognized with a unique award. We had such an amazing year together, and we are so thankful that God put us all together in our classroom! Have a great summer everyone!

Kindergarten had a BLAST at the Calgary Zoo! We were so excited to finally go on our big field trip before the year was over. Thank you so much to all our volunteers who came to help and enjoy the day with us!

We had the amazing opportunity to celebrate an unforgettable group of Grade 9 students. Speeches were made, tears (of laughter) were shed, cake was eaten, and great fellowship was shared. 🍰Wishing you all the absolute best as you head into high school next year! 🎓

The Grade 3 class had an AMAZING day at the Calgary Zoo!! Lions and Hippos and Bears…Oh, My!!🦁🦛🐻🦍🦒🐫🦓 is fun

Computer science in grade 4 focuses on the design process, specifically trying to find a need and design a solution.

Our grade 4 class identified the problem of trying to identify each other’s backpacks and brainstormed the solution of adding everyone’s names to their backpacks. We made it a bit more challenginging by using Tinkercad to design then 3D print keychains to put on their backpacks!

Our grade 9 buddies helped with the design process and even made their own keychains! All the keychains turned out wonderful and unique!

It was a learning process to ensure our keychains were thick enough, our names were on the bed properly and the 3D printers themselves provided a steep learning curve but the challenge was accepted!

We celebrated some more of our Terrific Tigers last week! 🎉

This year we are focussing on the Fruits of the Spirit. Looking for students who are displaying; love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, gentleness, faithfulness, and self-control!

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. -Galatians 5:22-23

Congrats to all our students for bringing glory to God and to the ones we honoured this month for displaying the Fruits making our school the best place to be!

Our grade 4 class had a great time on their field trip to Drumheller last week. They explored some of Alberta’s history 🗺️, unique landforms 🏜️, and resources 🦕🐚🪨.

They painted their own fossil cast, created an engaging museum sign, and hosted a mini museum for the kindergarten class to come tour! 🦴🦖🦈🐋
