Some of us took a zippy quick trip out to Waterton for supper and some beautiful sights yesterday. It’s hazy from the BC wildfires but it’s still awesome to see!

Poor Freddie and Millie didn’t know they were getting all exposed on this trip!! 😬 Kinda scary but pretty fun learning how to take them all apart and get things fixed up!! APQS Amy is a great teacher!

Such great colors in this customer quilt! She likes a piano key edge on her borders, so I have been getting practice maneuvering around in Quiltpath. Always good to learn and practice new things! I used the computerized design up to the edge of the border then free handed the straight lines.

Millie and Freddie are very quiet road trip companions…..

Not me pretending I know what I’m doing taking Freddie and Millie apart for transport!! Got them all boxed up and ready for APQS service tech training this week. I am excited to learn!

I forgot to get photos of this one while I was working on it and didn’t have a lot of space to get a good hanging pic. Edge to edge designs are great even on a panel! Also - I love a good contrasting binding!

This customer quilt is a great example to show how important thread color can be. Depending on the fabric it blends in or stands out differently. Sometimes it can be a challenge finding just the right one to work with all the different colors and prints! This is a customer quilt and is not for sale.
