Just a quick reminder that all school supplies are provided by the school — students only need to bring:
🎒 A backpack
👟 Indoor sneakers
💧 A water bottle

If you’re new to our community and haven’t registered yet, our office is now open! Feel free to drop in and see us or give us a call at 902-671-3000. We’d be happy to help!

Before & After School Program Update

We know there has been a lot of interest and discussion around the possibility of a Before and After School Program at Upper Stewiacke Elementary. We were hopeful that we would be able to make this happen for our families and appreciate everyone who took the time to complete the surveys and provide feedback.

Unfortunately, based on the anticipated enrollment, the program will not be able to move forward at this time.

We know this may be disappointing for some families, and we certainly understand the need for accessible before and after school care. We did our best to explore the possibility of bringing a program to our school, and we appreciate everyone who showed interest and took the time to participate in the process.

The message below is the official update from CCRCE's Before and After Program Manager:

Subject: Upper Stewiacke After School Program - Update

Dear Upper Stewiacke Families,

Thank you to everyone who took the time to complete our After School Program surveys. We truly appreciate your feedback and interest in having an after-school program available at Upper Stewiacke Elementary.

Following the initial Needs Assessment, we completed a follow-up survey to better understand anticipated enrollment for the program. After reviewing the responses, we have determined that there is not sufficient enrollment at this time to move forward with offering an After School Program at Upper Stewiacke Elementary.

We recognize this may be disappointing for families who were hoping to access the program, and we sincerely appreciate your interest and participation throughout this process.
