PRICE REDUCTION!!! An incredible program for an incredible price!

We got our Equip hoodies yesterday and just had to show them off! Thanks Robyn Froese for printing them for us! We’re so excited!

Our time in Brazil has come to an end. Today we go to the airport and head home. I think we’re all excited to see our families and sleep in our beds, but we’re also sad to leave our Quest Family! The minute we arrived we were welcomed and loved. As much as everything was different and it was our first time meeting people and being here, it never felt completely new! We felt comfortable and at home! We were blessed to work alongside this amazing team, working on their facility and preparing, then executing the English Camp. Our students learned so much and all worked in their growth zones. They challenged themselves and worked hard. The Quest team taught us so much and led us so well. We will miss them dearly and we hope to see them again next year!

Last week the Equipees spent the week serving at a few different ministries here in Manitoba! We baked a bunch of Christmas goodies at Steinbach Community Outreach on Monday. On Tuesday we went to Lighthouse Mission in Winnipeg and served lunch to those in need. And Thursday we ran the chapel at Union Gospel Mission in Winnipeg and cleaned some of their facility! What a blessing to be able to serve our communities and experience what different ministries do!

Last week we took our Equipees to a few different drop in centres! This gave them the opportunity to see what another local ministry looks like and to be able to help them out in ways of service! At Morris YFC we were able to prepare supper for their supper club. At Grunthal Dropzone we organized their shed, storage room and painted one of their offices. At St. Pierre YFC we helped serve lunch during their lunch program and helped with cleanup between programs. All this while being able to hang out with kids and teens! It was a fun week and they learned lots!

Last week we had the blessing of going on a 3-night canoe trip! We had beautiful weather the entire time (well maybe the nights were a little cold). We cooked most of our meals over the fire, got to explore God’s creation and bond as a team! What a blast!

We started our Equip program last week with a camping trip! What a blessing to be able to spend time getting to know each other while in God’s beautiful creation!

Just 1 more day and then we will start our Equip Program!!!! We can't wait! Stay tuned for more updates.
